A flexible, time-charged option for smaller jobs — man and van work, single-room moves, or a quick clearance run.
About Our Hourly Moves Service
Hourly Moves is our flexible, time-charged service for jobs that don’t need a full fixed-price home move — a single room to shift, a man-and-van run to a storage unit, a few large items between properties, or help for a couple of hours on moving day when the rest of the job is already done. You pay for the time the job actually takes rather than a flat quote built around a full house.
We quote Hourly Moves from £75 ex VAT, published as a starting rate on this page. The total depends on how long the job runs, which is shaped by how much there is to move and the access at each end — a job with a tight loading window, like a town-centre bay or a permit-only space, needs to be planned so the work fits the time available rather than overrunning it. We run Hourly Moves from our depots in Stourbridge and Kidderminster and our Pattingham head office, covering our full 30-town patch.
It suits students, single-item moves, small clearances, or anyone who just needs an extra pair of hands and a van for part of a day rather than a full removals crew. Because it’s charged by time rather than a fixed job price, it’s worth being clear with us about roughly how much there is to move and where, so we can give you a realistic estimate of how long the job will take. Every quote is free and no-obligation.
